Join us this summer at the Prattville YMCA for a Jurassic Jungle Summer Camp! Campers have a lots of fun indoors & outdoors, playing games, making crafts, swimming, goin on adventures & taking fun field trips!

Where can my child attend camp?

Excellent question! We have 3 locations throughout our community to choose from:

Main: Located on our 22 acre property at 600 East Main Street, Main is our flagship location. This location features a wooded area where children are able to explore, take hikes, and build forts, two separate playgrounds, a GaGa pit, a pavilion, amphitheater, and walking track. Children registered to attend camp at Main will have the opportunity to swim at our Don M. Smith branch pools, just a short walk up the hill, 4 days a week.

Daniel Pratt: Located at the Daniel Pratt Elementary School, this location enjoys access to the gym, lunchroom, and playground at the school, as well as easy access to the fields, and pool at the Bradford Branch of the YMCA. Children registered for camp at Daniel Pratt will have the opportunity to swim at our Bradford Branch pools, just across the fields, 4 days a week.

Pine Level: Located at the Pine Level Elementary School, this location enjoys access to the gym, lunchroom, and playground at the school. This location is ideal for families living in the Deatsville/Pine Level area. Children registered for camp at Pine Level will be transported to our Don M. Smith branch to swim 3 days a week.


That's great, but how much does it cost?


Registration fee:  $35 per child until Mar 1, $85 after Mar 1 (per child)

Weekly fee: $175 | $130 Prattville Y Members  We offer discounts for siblings.

Deposit: $15 per week registered to secure spot

Deposit is deducted from the weekly fee drafted (i.e. members would pay $15 for each week their child is registered for and their draft for that week would be $115)

Optional Lunch Program: We provide lunch if you want us to!  $25 per week per child.

Field Trips: Newtopia, Movie Day (How to Train Your Dragon), Bama Lanes, Camp Tukabatchee, McWane Center, Launch

Online Registration:   Summer camp and field trip registrations can be done 100% online.

Camp Hours:  Monday - Friday 7:00 am - 6:00 pm

More Camps:  We also offer Camp Able for the kids with special needs.


How can I register my child for Summer Day Camp at the Y?

There's 3 ways you can register for camp:

Option 1: Stop by the Bradford Branch to pick up a registration packet to fill out and turn back into our Member Service Staff.

Option 2: Download the parent guide and registration form below and either email it to Kerry Jones or drop it off at the Bradford Branch.

Financial Assistance

Financial Assistance Application


If you need assistance paying for camp, funds are made available to those who qualify by our generous donors through our Coach-A-Child fund. These funds are used to offset the cost of programs, including camp. If you need help paying for camp, download our financial assistance application and return it with the required documents listed on the cover page to Sarah Thornton or Kerry Jones via email or in a sealed envelope to the Bradford Branch Member Service desk.
