From beginner lessons to advanced swim training, we have adult aquatic programs to help you build confidence, endurance, and performance in the pool.


๐Ÿ’ฆ Adult Swim Lessons

Whether you're learning to swim for the first time or improving technique, our adult lessons offer a supportive environment with experienced instructors.

  • Days: Tuesdays & Thursdays

  • Time: 7:00 – 7:40 PM

๐Ÿ‹๏ธ‍โ™‚๏ธ Pre-Masters Training Program

Build strength, stamina, and swim technique in this intermediate-level training class—perfect preparation for Masters Swim Team or triathlon cross-training.

  • Days: Mon, Wed, Fri

  • Time: 1:00 – 2:00 PM

  • Program Dates: September 3 – April 30

  • ๐Ÿ’ฒ Monthly Fee: $100 / $50 Prattville Y Members

  • ๐Ÿ’ณ Payment: Monthly bank draft required


๐Ÿฅ‡ Masters Swim Team

Our Masters program is designed for adult swimmers of all levels—from fitness swimmers to competitive athletes.

ADULT AQUATICS CLASSES

 

Aqua Challenge

A moderate to intense water aerobics class that includes toning, stretching, and cardiovascular conditioning. The added buoyancy of exercise in in the water takes the JOLT out of your joints!

Days: Monday, Wednesday & Friday

Time:  8:00 - 8:55 am

 

Arthritic Exercise

This class is a series of water exercises, which has the potential to help decrease pain and / or stiffness and improve or maintain joint flexibility. Anyone can benefit from this program, even non-swimmers.

Days: Monday-Friday

Time:  9:00 - 9:55 am

 

Adult Aquacize

This is a light to moderate water aerobics class of conditioning exercises to work on muscle strength and flexibility. Exercises include gentle stretching with slow, progressive movements.

Days: Monday-Friday

Time:  10:00 - 10:55 am


 

FITNESS CLASSES 

CARDIAC CLASS

A class created for seniors to help maintain a healthy active lifestyle.  This class includes movement exercises to keep your mobility & strength.  It is also a very social class that will engage in activities from time to time.

Location: Fitness Center

Days: Monday, Wednesday & Friday

Time: 11:00am - 11:45am

Cost: Free to the community


PACERS

The Y understands the importance for our Senior Adults to remain active.  The Y's Pacers is an exercise we offer to active older adults looking for a great way to stay in shape.  
Pacers helps increase joint flexibility and range of motion while maintaining muscle strength.  This class is offered free of charge.

Location: Fitness Center

Days: Monday, Wednesday & Friday

Time:  8:00 - 8:45 am

Cost: Free to the community


MORNING MOVERS

Morning Movers is a 30-minute class to get your day going on the right foot. This class is designed to improve balance, coordination, and strength.

Days: Wednesday & Friday
